NACOGDOCHES, Texas --The SFA volleyball team tallied a .469 attack percentage en route to a 3-0 victory (25-7, 25-14, 25-7) over the Lamar Cardinals on Friday inside Shelton Gym. With the non-conference win, SFA's record improves to 2-1
Ariana Pagan finished with nine kills on the day to lead the Ladyjacks offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .474. Bryli Contreras pitched in with five service aces in the contest. SFA got 23 digs from Madelynn Miller to lead the way on defense.

SET 2 | After their win in the first set, SFA put themselves on the cusp of a sweep with a 25-14 victory in set number two. The Ladyjacks led from the opening point on in the set to earn the victory. SFA opened up as much as a 12 point lead at 24-12 before finishing off the set. The Ladyjacks hit .480 over the course of the set. The SFA offense also got a boost from four aces in the stanza.
SET 3 | SFA took set three to finish the match in a 3-0 sweep. The Ladyjacks took a 1-0 lead and never looked back in the set to earn a 25-7 victory. SFA ended on a high note, claiming its biggest lead, 18 points, to close out the set. The SFA offense also got a boost from six aces in the stanza.
