JONESBORO, Ark. -- The SFA baseball team got a quality start on the mound from Joe Todd but was unable to get anything going offensively against Arkansas State. on Saturday, getting blanked by a 3-0 score.
Todd (0-1) started and took the loss on the mound for SFA (1-1). The right-hander went six innings, giving up three runs, two earned, on six hits, allowing no walks and striking out three. Junior Raygan Dodd was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going one shutout inning without allowing a hit, walking none and striking out two.
Junior Kyle Cullen led the way offensively for the 'Jacks, going 1-for-3 in the ballgame.
