SFA Wraps Up Competition at SMU Invitational

DALLAS - The SFA tennis team wrapped up its competition at the SMU Invitational Sunday morning.
Armelle Cerdan lost her only match of the day, dropping a 6-3, 6-1 decision to Southern Miss's Katia de la Garza. Cerdan was playing in the consolation side of the bracket of the Peruna Draw and her Sunday setback came in the consolation finals.
Senior Nida Kamal picked up the only SFA victory of the day, scoring a 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 win over Lingwei Kong in an extra match that was played.
