
Multis Wrap Up Competition at Bayou Bengal Invitational

BATON ROUGE, La. – The SFA Track and Field pentathletes and heptathletes finished competition at the Bayou Bengal Invitational on Friday afternoon at the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse. The meet marked the first multis competition for the 'Jacks this season.
Sammi Brashears had herself a big meet, posting a new PR of 3351 in the Pentathlon with a fourth-place finish. Avery Ellis Byerly finished seventh in the event as well.
On the men's side, Tanner Parks led the way with a second place finish, followed by Conner Wilbur in third, Bradley Beatty in fourth, Tyji Yulee in fifth and Noah Berney in seventh.
