Waco, Texas -- The SFA volleyball team saw its historic season come to a close Friday night in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament after a 3-0 (18-25, 19-25, 16-25) loss to USC>
The non-conference loss dropped SFA to 31-2 on the season.
Danae Daron finished with 11 kills on the day to lead the Ladyjacks attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .500. Defensively, SFA had three players reach double figures in digs, including Madelynn Miller's 18, 11 from Ariana Pagan, and 10 more from Ann Hollas.

SET 1 | The Ladyjacks fell behind on the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before falling in the first set 25-18.
SET 2 | SFA dropped set two 25-19, digging a 2-0 hole in the match. SFA trailed by as many as six points as USC grabbed the advantage for good at 11-10 in a set that was tied up four times before the Trojans took over the lead.
SET 3 | SFA was not able to win the third set and was swept by USC. The Ladyjacks fell behind on the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before falling in the set 25-16.
