
SFA Women Place Six Individuals and 4x100 Relay Team on All-Conference Teams

Ladyjacks garner seven individual and one relay accolade
Full Southland Outdoor All-Conference Teams release
FRISCO, Texas – Six Ladyjack athletes would secure a total of seven All-Conference nods on the Southland Outdoor All-Conference Teams, per a release from the conference office on Tuesday. Brittany Innis and Kaylee Bizzell were champions in their respective events and earned First Team Honors, while Taryn Surratt, Kelsey Ramirez, Dominique Jackson and Imani Nave (twice) also received All-Conference accolades. Additionally, the women's 4x100 meter relay team of Jackson, Camille Singleton, Nave and Aaliyah Teel broke the school record with a time of 45.29 and earned themselves Second Team selections.
Notching SFA's first individual win of the meet was Innis, a senior out of Cedar Park, Texas. Innis ran to a first-place finish with a time of 10:37.67 to earn First Team honors, while Surratt garnered Second Team accolades with a mark of 10:46.31, finishing second in the race.
Bizzell, a sophomore out of Golden, Texas, completed her season sweep of the women's pole vault with a mark of 4.15m (13-07.25), a PR by two bars. Having already won the Southland Indoor pole vault title. Bizzell's victory in the outdoor meet garnered her second First Team All-Conference accolade of the season.
Freshman Kelsey Ramirez ran to a runner-up finish in the 1500m run, earning herself an All-Conference Second Team selection. Ramirez, a native of LaPorte, Texas, earns her second conference accolade after a runner-up finish in the mile at the 2018 Indoor Championship.
Jackson earned her second Second Team honor with her performance in the 400m hurdles following her leg in the 4x100 relay. Imani Nave was the recipient of three All-Conference honors at the outdoor meet, beginning with a PR effort in the 400m dash (54.11), which garnered a Second Team selection. Nave then took third in the 200m dash (23.74) to earn a Third Team placard before running a leg of the runners-up 4x100 meter relay.

Southland Conference outdoor track & field superlatives are nominated and voted upon by the league's head coaches. Voting for oneself or one's own athletes is not permitted. First, Second and Third Team All-Conference distinction is given to the first, second and third place finishers in each championship event final.
