
SFA's Next Three Games Part of Hoops in the Heartland Event

SFA's one of six NCAA Division I men's basketball teams from around the nation to participate in the event
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - As its heads into Thanksgiving week with a 4-0 record, the Stephen F. Austin men's basketball team's next three games have been chosen to be a part of the Hoops in the Heartland Benefitting Men Against Breast Cancer event.
SFA's next three showdowns - at Mississippi State (11/22), versus Florida A&M (11/26) and versus North Dakota State (11/28) - are all a part of the 14-game event which features a total of six schools from around the nation. Along with SFA, Florida A&M, Green Bay, Mississippi State, North Dakota State and Stetson are also participating in the event.
Men Against Breast Cancer (MABC) is the first and only national 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization designed to provide targeted support services that educate and empower men to be effective caregivers when cancer strikes. Since its founding in 1999, MABC has mobilized men across America, including under-served populations, to be active participants in the fight against breast cancer.
Their philosophy is to leverage the support of the whole family to help the patient, with special emphasis on the important role of men in caring for the women they love.
Hoops in the Heartland Benefitting Men Against Breast Cancer is organized by Russ Potts Productions, Inc. (RPPI). In its 35-plus years years of existence, RPPI has organized over 850 major college and professional sporting events.
