Discussions with Dallas: AIA at the University of Aukland

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - This summer, Stephen F. Austin men's basketball rising senior Dallas Cameron will be a guest writer on SFAJacks.com in order to detail the preparation the 'Jacks will go through for the 2016-17 season and his time in New Zealand with Athletes in Action. Below is the fourth entry in the summer blog series Discussions with Dallas, written by Cameron.
Hello Lumberjack friends and family! I just wanted to give another quick update of how things are going in New Zealand.
Things have been great and today we were able to reach out to some of the students at Auckland University through our basketball clinic. To see the joy and excitement in the faces of the students made the clinic worthwhile. We were able to share our faith during that clinic as well as go around campus and talk to other people about Christianity.
We played another game today and when the final buzzer sounded, we emerged victorious. During the halftime segment, I was given the opportunity to talk to the audience and the opposing team about my personal testimony and how I came to know Christ. It was a fulfilling moment knowing that I was out there doing God's work and doing what I was called to do. I got to talk to Anthony Jones, one of the opposing players, and I am currently trying to set up a meeting with him to further share my story and help him know more about Christ which I very exciting!
This trip has truly been a blessing and I'm looking forward to our "fun day" tomorrow. I'll come back with plenty of pictures as promised. Until next time, Axe 'Em!
