Ledet Shines in Summer Baseball League

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin pitcher and Nacogdoches native Patrick Ledet capped off an impressive summer, reeling in individual and team accolades with the Haysville Aviators summer league team.
Ledet was named a first team All-Jayhawk League selection at relief pitcher, one of just three named to the first team. He helped guide the Aviators, based out of Haysville, Kansas, to a 35-16 overall record, posting a 4-0 record with a 1.00 ERA in 27 innings pitched, striking out 25.
Ledet played a key role in helping Haysville capture the 2015 Jayhawk Baseball League championship. The Aviators then advanced to the 81st NBC World Series, finishing second, and closed out the season ranked 19th nationally among summer collegiate teams.
Getting ready for his junior season at SFA, Ledet led the Lumberjacks with a 1.53 ERA in 2015, posting a 3-0 record in 29.1 innings pitched. Ledet recorded 17 strikeouts and just nine walks, appearing in a team-best 26 games on the season.
