Baseball's Weekend Series Altered

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Expected inclement weather and cold temperatures have forced a change to Stephen F. Austin's Southland Conference-opening weekend series against Central Arkansas at Jaycees Field.
Game one against the Bears has been moved to a 4 p.m. first pitch Friday, moved up due to temperatures expected to plummet into the low 20s after nightfall. The Lumberjacks and Bears will now play a Saturday doubleheader to close out the series with game one scheduled for 12 p.m. and the second to follow 30 minutes afterwards. The change was made due to rainy conditions expected to move into the area late Saturday night.
