
`Jacks Tabbed Ninth In Preseason Polls

FRISCO, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin baseball team was tabbed ninth in the 2015 Southland Conference preseason polls in a vote by the league's coaches and sports information directors, the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon.
The Lumberjacks, under the guidance of seventh-year head coach Johnny Cardenas, received 49 points from the coaches and 52 points from the SIDs.
SFA is coming off a 20-35 season in which the `Jacks finished 12th in the SLC, posting an 11-19 mark.
The `Jacks will open the 2015 season on Friday, Feb. 13, hosting the Tipton Ford Classic.
