NACOGDOCHES, Texas - After the rainout of their home opener, the Stephen F. Austin women's tennis team retakes the road to face Texas-Arlington on Saturday.
"UTA is a tough team that has historically placed in the top three in the Southland Conference and now also a contender in the Sunbelt," head coach Roberto Aspillaga said. "They usually finish the year in the top 75 in the country and this season shouldn't be an exception."
The Ladyjacks (0-1), who had to cancel their last match due to inclement weather, will take on a UTA squad that is coming off a 7-0 blanking of Midwestern State.
"The girls have had two excellent weeks of practice and they look ready to take on the challenge," Aspillaga said.
SFA and the Mavericks will begin play at 2 p.m. at the UTA Tennis Center on Saturday.
