NACOGDOCHES, Texas - With inclement weather in the forecast for tonight's Stephen F. Austin-Oral Roberts Southland Conference soccer opener, the SFA athletic department has created a weather plan to ensure the safety of student-athletes, coaches and spectators.
In the event that inclement weather influences the match, two plans have been agreed upon by the coaches of both institutions, as well as the Southland Conference.
Option 1: If the match does not reach a total of 70 minutes played, it is not official and must be replayed from the beginning (Rule 10.10 in the 2013 NCAA Rules Book.) The match will be rescheduled to Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m.
Option 2: If the match cannot satisfy Option 1, the match will then be rescheduled for Monday, Sept. 23 at 11 a.m.
