Smith Signs With Baloncesto Fuenlabrada

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Five months after guiding the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks to a Southland Conference title, Taylor Smith signed a contract Sunday to play for Spain's Baloncesto Fuenlabrada.
The reigning Southland Conference Player of the Year, Smith led the nation in field goal percentage (69.4) while averagining 15.4 ppg, 9.2 rpg and 2.8 bpg. Smith also took home SLC Defensive Player of the Year honors his senior campaign.
Baloncesto Fuenlabrada is a professional basketball team based in Fuenlabrada, Madrid, Spain, currently playing in the liga ACB. The club was founded in 1983.
