- SFA is just 2-8 all-time vs Dallas Baptist, and holds an 8-0 record vs Grambling after a win earlier this season.
- SFA shortstop Hunter Dozier moved into sixth all-time in hits at SFA with a 4-for-6 performance vs Sacred Heart, adding three more doubles to his school-record total.
- Freddy Villalobos and Ricardo Sanchez each have reached base in SFA's last 10 games in a row. Villalobos currently ranks first on the roster with four homers and 13 RBI, while Sanchez leads the team witha .488 batting average.
- Kyle Cross has been a pleasant surprise for SFA this season, posting a 1.19 ERA in his first three starts. The junior righty has fanned 10 while walking just one.
- Senior starter Chase Greening set a school record with 17 strikeouts on Friday in SFA's 18-0 win over Arlington Baptist
