CONWAY, Ark. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack volleyball team was unable to take a set from Central Arkansas, falling 3-0 (14-25, 16-25, 11-25) Saturday afternoon at Prince Center.
SFA (10-8, 2-3 SLC) was held to a season-low .079 clip across three sets against the Sugar Bears (14-3, 6-0 SLC).
Senior Leslie Jackson led the Ladyjack attack, recording seven kills and a .429 attack percentage.
Setters Paige Holland and Shannon Connell split time for SFA, each appearing in all the sets. Holland finished with 16 assists, while Connell added nine. Libero OJ Olson recorded 10 digs to lead the Ladyjack back line.
Jackson and freshman Jacque Allen each recorded two block assists, as SFA recorded three blocks as a team.
UCA never trailed the entire match as they took all three sets to sweep the Ladyjacks and remain undefeated in Southland Conference play.
SFA will return to Shelton Gym, hosting Nicholls State at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10.
