NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Senior high jumper Carrie Hahn has been named to the 2012 CoSIDA Academic All-District team announced CoSIDA Thursday afternoon. Hahn received first-team honors.
The Leander, Texas, native has been a key figure in helping guide the Ladyjacks to four consecutive indoor and outdoor conference titles, while maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. The eight consecutive SLC titles is a conference record.
A three-time All-SLC selection, Hahn was the recipient of the F.L. McDonald Postgraduate Scholarship earlier this year. She has been named to the Dean's List and President's List every semester in Nacogdoches, and has received the Murray Shaw Academic Award each of the past two years at the university's annual Champion's Dinner.
Hahn has served as the president for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and is involved with Fellowship of Christian Track athletes. She has been heavily involved in the Adopt-A-Highway program, as well as supporting programs that purchase Christmas gifts for less fortunate children in the community.
