
Soccer Team Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - For a third consecutive season the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks soccer team received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America College Women's Team Academic Award. To qualify for the award, a team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) to be eligible.
The Ladyjacks, who were one of five Southland Conference schools to be recognized, have a team GPA of 3.24.
Two weeks ago SFA's sophomore defender Megan Dunnigan (4.00 GPA) and senior midfielder Kylie Louw (3.78 GPA) were each named to the 2012 Capital One All-Academic Soccer District VII First Team.
