SFA Adds San Diego To 2011-12 Slate

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Lumberjack basketball team has made a late addition to the upcoming 2011-12 schedule, adding a Nov. 14 road contest to San Diego to for a game versus the Torreros.
The game will tip at 7:00 p.m. on the West Coast (9:00 p.m. CT) and completes a 30-game slate for the Lumberjacks, with exactly half of those games being on the road.
SFA is 2-0 all-time vs USD, winning 71-62 in Nacogdoches in 2006 and taking a 56-50 win in 2007, the same season that the Torreros advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after a first-round upset of UConn.
The Lumberjacks open up the season Nov. 11 with a home game versus Centenary before going on the road for four of its next five contests. SFA begins conference play on Jan. 4 when it travels to Texas State.
