Game Notes & What To Watch For:
- Gametracker, live video and live chats will be available for all three games this weekend at www.sfajacks.com.
- Junior Bryson Myles has established himself as not only one of the best in the SLC, but in the nation with the numbers he has put up this season. Myles finished the weekend with 38 stolen bases and 66 hits, both marks that ranked him atop the SLC. His 38 swipes also leads the nation, and is just two steals away from making Myles the first SLC player since 1997 to swipe 40 bags in a season.
- SFA has not allowed a home run at Jaycees Field this season, spanning 165.0 innings on its home turf. Conversely, SFA's offense has hit 21 of its 27 homers on the year away from Jaycees Field. The Lumberjacks are coming off a six homer showing on Saturday at McNeese State, setting a new school record.
- Freshman Hunter Dozier was recently named the SLC hitter of the week after going 7-for-14 last week with three homers and seven RBI in three games. He has homered in each of his last four ballgames.
- SFA has won nine of the last 11 regular season games with the Mavs, but UTA has had the last laugh in each of the last two seasons with wins in the SLC Tournament over SFA. UTA will be looking for its first series win in Nacogdoches since 2006.
