Tennis Out to Best Start in School History

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team is off to its best start in school history, and is looking to extend its win streak Saturday when they host UT-Tyler. The Ladyjacks enter Saturday's match a perfect 9-0 on the season, and 1-0 in Southland Conference play. The Ladyjacks will host UT-Tyler Saturday at 5 p.m. from the Schlief Tennis Complex, before traveling to Beaumont, Texas to take on Lamar in their second league match of the season.
The weekend matchups will see three teams that have combined for only one loss on the season. UT Tyler enters Saturday's match with an overall 6-1 record, while Lamar remains undefeated at 6-0 the year.
Saturday's match marks the first meeting between the Ladyjacks and the Lady Patriots of UT Tyler. Meanwhile, SFA will be seeking to avenge a 5-2 setback to the Lady Cardinals last season.
Following Sunday's match, the Ladyjacks are set to take on Southeastern Louisiana at the Schlief Tennis Complex on Saturday, March 12th.
