Game Notes & What To Watch For:
- Due to internet issues at the MLB Urban Youth Academy - Sylvester Turner Field in Houston, there will be no live chat or Gametracker of Tuesday's game. Fans are encouraged to follow via Facebook and Twitter for updates throughout the afternoon.
- The 'Jacks are riding a season-long, six-game win streak and have also won each of their last seven games at home. That is the longest win streak for SFA under Johnny Cardenas and is just three wins shy of equaling the 2008 squad's nine-game win streak as the longest since the return of the program.
- Senior Garrett Smith is riding an 11-game hit streak coming into the weekend, the longest on the team this year and a career long for him. Junior Bryce Cummings is also riding a nine-game hit streak of his own.
- Junior Bryson Myles already has 17 steals on the season, placing in the top 10 in both career nad single-season swipes at SFA. He needs just four more steals to tie Tanner Hines for second on the single-season list, and is already more than halfway to Kai Kirby's school record of 30 set in 2008.
- The 'Jacks are currently leading the SLC with a 2.31 team ERA, including a 1.86 ERA from the Lumberjack bullpen.
- The Lumberjacks are 5-0 against SWAC opponents since the beginning of the 2008 season.
