Ladyjack Tennis Returns to Action

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team returns to action Saturday when they host Southeastern Louisiana in Southland Conference action. SFA will return to the court 24 hours later to face Nicholls. Both matches are slated to begin at 11 a.m. from the Schlief Tennis Complex.
Despite having a school-record nine-match win streak to start the 2011 season snapped last week, the Ladyjacks are still out to their best start in program history. Led by junior Alina Shazhko at No. 1 singles, the Ladyjacks are 9-1 on the season, and 1-1 in Southland Conference play. SFA is a perfect 2-0 at home at home this season.
Southeastern Louisiana enters Saturday's matchup with a 5-3 overall record, and is 1-1 in conference play. Nicholls enters the weekend 4-1 on the year and 0-1 in conference play.
