Game Notes & What To Watch For:
- Senior Garrett Smith is riding an eight-game hit streak coming into the weekend, just two shy of his career long of 10.
- Junior Bryson Myles already has 17 steals on the season, placing in the top 10 in both career nad single-season swipes at SFA. He needs just four more steals to tie Tanner Hines for second on the single-season list, and is already more than halfway to Kai Kirby's school record of 30 set in 2008.
- The 'Jacks are currently leading the SLC with a 2.48 team ERA, including a 1.76 ERA from the Lumberjack bullpen.
- The Lumberjacks swept the Bears last season in Conway to open up SLC play, winning a close 2-0 pitcher's duel before scoring 37 combined runs in the next two games. Darren Crabtree had a career weekend, and went 6-for-6 with eight RBI in the middle game of the series, tying SFA single-game records with both marks. His weekend numbers were also enough to earn him that week's SLC hitter of the week.
