SFA Tennis Hosts Prairie View A&M

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team will host Prairie View A&M Thursday afternoon for the second time this season. The match is slated to begin at 2 p.m. from the Schlief Tennis Complex.
The first time SFA matched up against Prairie View A&M, the Ladyjacks recorded a dominant 6-1 win. SFA took control of that match as they swept all three doubles matches right from the start.
Going into this match, the Ladyjacks have made program history, receiving a No. 71 national ranking in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll. On top of that, they are the first Southland Conference School to appear in the national poll this season.
The Ladyjacks hope to extend their 5-0 start to the 2011 campaign Thursday. SFA will be back in action Saturday when they travel to Corinth, Texas, to take on North Central Texas College. SFA will follow that up with a match at Collins College later that day.
