Ladyjack Golf Struggles in Rare Sunday Start

VICTORIA, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack golf team opened the spring portion of the 2010-2011 schedule Sunday at the Claud Jacobs Intercollegiate, but shot a 348 and enter the second round of action 16th overall. The teams were schedule to play two rounds Sunday, but play was suspended and the second and third rounds will be completed Monday.
SFA's lone senior, Noelle Willcoxon, leads the team with a 13-over 85, and is currently tied for 65th overall. Freshman Aliece Anderson is currently two strokes back of Willcoxon with an opening round 87. She is tied for 73rd overall.
Sophomore Chelsea Simmons and freshman Sara Jones are currently tied for 79th overall with an 88. Freshman Marissa Bransburg finished the day with a 92, and is currently 85th overall.
