NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks soccer team continues to reap the benefits of one of the best seasons in school history, learning Thursday that junior midfielder Kylie Louw and freshman forward Chelsea Raymond were both selected to NSCAA 2011 Women's Division I All-Central Team.
Louw, who was an NSCAA All-Central second-team selection last season, was one of 12 players chosen to the first-team this year while Southland Conference Freshman of the Year Raymond was named to the third-team.
Louw and Raymond helped lead SFA to an SLC regular season title and a 15-3-1 record. Louw was named the Southland Conference Player of the Year for a second-straight season by compiling 28 points (14 assists, 7 goals) while Raymond set a single-season SFA record for most goals (17) and points (41) in a single-season.
Louw and Raymond were joined on the all-region squads by fellow Southland Conference opponents Maiya Cooper of Southeastern Louisiana and Texas State's Kelsey Bernard.
