Ladyjack Track & Field Receives National Academic Honor

NEW ORLEANS - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack track and field team was named a 2010 U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic team announced organization officials Friday afternoon. The team honor comes less than two weeks after having three athletes earn USTFCCCA individual academic honors.
SFA finished the year with a 3.17 cumulative grade point average, and was one of only two Southland Conference schools to receive the honor. The Ladyjacks also posted the highest GPA in the conference. SFA had several athletes finish the year with a 4.0 GPA.
To be eligible for the honor, teams must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
