SFA Track & Field Hosts Walk-on Tryout

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin men's and women's track and field team has scheduled a walk-on tryout for Wednesday, Sept. 1 at Fletcher Garner Track in Homer Bryce Stadium. The tryout is slated to begin at 6 p.m.
The Ladyjacks are coming off their second consecutive sweep of the Southland Conference Indoor and Outdoor Championships. The 'Jacks posted runner-up finishes during the 2010 indoor and outdoor seasons. Sophomore Nick McCloud advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships where he finished among the nation's top 24 in the 110-meter hurdles.
