Burchett 10th in the 800 Meters at Texas Relays

AUSTIN, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin men's and women's track and field team opened the 83rd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Wednesday in Austin, Texas with the men's and women's 800 meters. Sophomore Danielle Burchett posted a top-10 finish in the women's race, while Austin Hardy placed among the field's top 20 on the men's side.
Burchett clocked a time of 2:16.04 to finish 10th overall in the women's 800-meter run. Hardy crossed the finish line with a time of 1:58.18 to finish 17th overall.
The second day of action at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays will begin Thursday at 4:30 p.m. with the preliminary heats of the women's 400-meter hurdles. The men's 400-meter hurdle race is slated to begin at 5 p.m.
