Hahn Named SLC Athlete of the Week

FRISCO, Texas - Sophomore high jumper Carrie Hahn has been named Southland Conference Female Athlete of the Week announced league officials Wednesday afternoon. It is the first time in Hahn's career that she has received the honor.
The Vista Ridge native cleared a height of 5-8.75 to win the high jump title at the 2010 Sooner Open Saturday in Norman, Okla. The mark was an improvement of three inches from her previous season best. Hahn's jump just missed the NCAA provisional qualifying standard, but places her tied for third in the conference.
The SFA men's and women's teams will be in Norman, Okla., Friday to open the 2010 SLC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
