NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin sophomore Kylie Louw has been named to the 2010 NSCAA/Performance Subaru All-Central Region team. Louw is a second-team selection on the squad. This marks her first such honor.
The midfielder from South Africa finished with 20 points this season, tying for the team lead despite missing two games due to injury and three games at the end of the season while playing in a Women's World Cup qualifying event with the South African national team. She scored seven goals and had a team-leading six assists in 15 games.
For her efforts, Louw was named the co-Player of the Year in the Southland Conference and took First-Team All-Southland honors for the second straight year.
Louw is the only Southland player on the second team and is one of just five league players total to make the all-region squad.
