Ladyjack Soccer Earns Academic Honor

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack soccer team is one of 436 programs nationwide to earn the 2010 NSCAA College Team Academic Award. The award is the first for the Ladyjacks.
To be eligible for the award a team must carry a combined GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale. The Ladyjacks have a 3.21 team GPA.
SFA is one of five Southland Conference teams to make the list and has the second-best GPA in the league. The Ladyjacks had 19 selections to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll last year, when SFA led the league with 81 total honorees.
