Southland Soccer Tournament Schedule Announced

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The seeding and schedule for the 2010 Southland Conference Soccer Tournament has been announced. Stephen F. Austin goes into the tournament as the No. 2 seed and has a first-round bye in the event, which is hosted by Texas State in San Marcos.
SFA will open tournament play on Friday with a 4:30 p.m. match. The Ladyjacks' opponent will be the winner of the tournament opener between No. 3 UTSA and No. 6 Lamar.
In the other half of the bracket, No. 1 Southeastern Louisiana will await the winner of Thursday's second game between No. 4 Texas State and No. 5 Sam Houston State. The second semifinal match-up will follow SFA's game and is set for a 7 p.m. start.
The winners of the two semifinal games will square off in the tournament championship game on Sunday at 1 p.m. The finals match-up will be televised on the Southland Television Network. All other tournament games will be streamed live for free on SLC NOW.
