
Marshall Sets School Record at ISU Meet

AMES, Iowa - Junior thrower Frednisha Marshall added to her list of honors Saturday by winning the weight throw, and setting a new school record at the ISU NCAA Qualifier. Marshall recorded a school-record throw of 67-10.75 to win the event and improve her standing at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
The two-time defending SLC Indoor Outstanding Field Athlete enters the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships ranked sixth in the nation in the weight throw. Marshall will begin her quest for more national accolades Friday when she opens competition in the event. The weight throw is slated to begin at 4 p.m., from College Station, Texas.
