
Louw Up For National Award

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin freshman Kylie Louw is up for a national player of the year award in her native South Africa, according to a report published by the South African Football Association.
Louw, who spent four years playing with the South African Women's National Team prior to signing on with SFA, is one of three nominees for the player of the year award with the country's Senior Women's National Team. The winner will be determined via vote and announced in a ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 19.
Louw led the Ladyjacks in scoring with 21 points in her rookie season. She posted six goals and a team-best nine assists on her way to earning Southland Conference Freshman of the Year and First-Team All-SLC honors. Louw was also named to the All-Southland Conference Tournament team.
