NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks' game against McNeese State has been pushed back to 5 p.m., a change from its original start time of 4 p.m. The switch was made to better accommodate fans wishing to stay and watch the second game of the doubleheader.
SFA will be hosting a rare conference doubleheader with McNeese State Saturday. The men's game is slated to follow 40 minutes after the final buzzer of the women's game.
The Lumberjacks enter Saturday's contest with a 13-5 overall record, and lead the SLC East with a 5-1 conference mark. The Ladyjacks are 8-10 on the season, and tied for second in the SLC East with a 3-3 league record.
Saturday's game will also serve as the annual "Take A Kid to the Game," promotion where children ages 14 and younger receive free admission to both games. Along with free admission, children will receive free popcorn and $1 hot dogs. The SFA Spirit Squads will also be on hand to paint faces prior to the game.
The Dallas Mavericks' Mavs Man is also making a return to Nacogdoches. He will be on hand to perform at halftime of the men's game.
