SFA Places Six on Academic All-Conference Team

FRISCO, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin men's and women's track and field team placed six athletes on the 2007 Capital One/Southland Conference All-Academic team announced league officials Monday afternoon. SFA tied Texas-Arlington with the most representatives on the team.
Seniors Ryder Peacock, Sarah Emerson and Katrina Nicholas, junior Justin Reyes, Kimbri Lettkeman and redshirt freshman Keith Mahipala were honored by the league following standout seasons in the classroom and on the track.
To be nominated for the honor athletes must maintain a 3.0 grade-point average and be a starter or significant contributor for their respective teams. The nominees must also have completed one academic year at their institution prior to the year in which they are nominated.
