Valid SFA Student ID Allows Free Admission into SLC Tournament

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin men's and women's basketball teams have qualified for the Southland Conference tournament. The Ladyjacks are the No. 2 overall seed, while the SFA men are the sixth seed. Tickets for the tournament will go on sale at the Campbell Center Monday beginning at noon.
All tickets are $15, but fans can also purchase a tournament booklet, which will get them into every tournament game, for only $60. SFA students can get into the game for free with a valid student ID. Children under the age of five will also receive free admission to the tournament.
The Ladyjacks will begin play Wednesday at noon. The Ladyjacks will face seventh-seeded Lamar in the first round of the tournament. The Lumberjacks will open tournament play Thursday against third-seeded Northwestern State. The game against the Demons is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m.
