Ladyjack Softball Swept at Louisiana-Monroe

MONROE, La. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks were swept by the Louisiana-Monroe Lady Indians Friday night, 6-0 and 4-1, in Southland Conference softball action from Lady Indian Field.
In the first half of Friday's action, seniors Lee Lara and Tara Hersey each collected a hit for SFA, but were unsuccessful on the base paths as Traci Moore suffered her seventh loss of the season. She allowed four runs on eight hits in 4.2 innings of work.
In the nightcap, junior Crystal Dahlquist hit a double and was driven home on a Jessica Tullos' ground out to shortstop to score the only Ladyjack run.
SFA and ULM will face off Saturday at noon from Lady Indian Field.
