
Ladyjacks Sweep Roadrunners

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack volleyball team swept the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners Friday night to extend its win streak to 16 matches. The 3-0 (30-23, 30-25, 30-23) victory sends SFA's overall record to 22-3 on the season and a perfect 11-0 in Southland Conference action. The Roadrunners fell to 15-11 on the year and 7-4 in SLC play.
For the Ladyjacks, Lauren Railey was the only one who knocked down double-digit kills and posted 10 digs for a double-double. JJ Jones also collected a double-double with 39 assists and 11 digs. Jones also had four total blocks in the match.
Junior Jami Hill led both sides with 18 digs and Stephanie Figgers chimed in with 17.
The Ladyjacks return to the court Saturday at 4 p.m. when they host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Seniors Laura Cramer, Lauren Adams, Cristin Hopkin, and Figgers will be honored before their final home match at the William R. Johnson Coliseum.
