SFA Athletics Holds Letterwinner Orientation

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Athletics department held a letterwinner orientation Sunday night at the William R. Johnson Coliseum to honor its athletes from the 2004-05 season. Fall classes begin Monday morning, but Sunday night was about honoring those SFA athletes that excelled in competition a year ago.
SFA had one of its more memorable seasons in school history by recording five Southland Conference titles last year. The Lumberjack cross country team got the season started by winning its fourth-straight title. The Ladyjack soccer and volleyball team followed with a conference crown as well. The men and women's track and field team closed out the year by sweeping the SLC Indoor Championships.
