
Ladyjack Volleyball Defeats Lamar

BEAUMONT, Texas - Traci Rohde and Laura Cramer led the way for the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack volleyball team as it swept Lamar, 3-0, Friday at the Montagne Center. It was the 19th straight win for SFA who is now 26-2 overall with a perfect 18-0 Southland Conference mark. SFA eased its way to the victory by scores of 30-22, 30-20, and 30-19.
Three Ladyjacks notched double-digit kills with Rohde and Cramer knocking down 13 and senior Lauren Stevens recording 10. They each recorded hitting percentages of above .400 with Rohde leading with .423, Stevens recording .421 and Cramer hitting .414.
Rohde, a junior from Norman, Okla., had a match-leading four service aces and four total blocks. Cramer nabbed the 17th double-double of her senior campaign when she notched 10 digs. Sophomore JJ Jones had a season-high six blocks to go along with a match-leading 43 assists.
The Ladyjacks will conclude their 2005 season Saturday with a 5 p.m. Southland Conference match against McNeese State in Lake Charles. -SFA-
