SFA/McNeese State to Play in Houston

PLANO, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team's game against McNeese State has been moved to Galena Park ISD Stadium in Houston, Texas Southland Conference officials announced Saturday afternoon. The game is tentatively scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m.
The game, which was originally set to be played at Cowboy Stadium in Lake Charles, La., had to be moved to a new venue due to the effects of Hurricane Rita. Information on purchasing tickets will be released later this week.
The Lumberjacks enter the game with a 4-1(.800) overall mark and are 1-0 in conference play after defeating Nicholls State. McNeese State is 2-1 (.667) on the season. Saturday's game will be the league opener for the Cowboys.
