
Ladyjack Volleyball Sweeps Lamar

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks stepped back into Southland Conference play with a sweep of the Lamar Lady Cardinals to extend their win streak to seven games Friday night at the William R. Johnson Coliseum.
The Ladyjacks won by two points in game one, 30-28 and the Lady Cardinals could not recover as SFA took games two and three 30-16 and 30-19. The Ladyjacks have swept three of their last four opponents.
Junior Laura Cramer led the way for the Ladyjacks with 19 kills and 13 digs to give her her 10th double-double this season. She had a .425 attack percentage for the night, the highest on both squads.
Sophomore JJ Jones collected 42 assists on the evening. That is the most assists she's collected in a three-game set this season. Senior Jessica Watson had a total of six blocks and junior Stephanie Figgers had 16 digs.
The Ladyjacks had a team hitting percentage of .306, their highest since a three-game sweep of Louisiana-Lafayette on Sept. 10.
Keeping their perfect mark in the SLC, the Ladyjacks extended their conference record to 6-0 while improving their overall mark to 14-2.
On Saturday night, SFA will face SLC opponent, McNeese State, at 7 p.m. at the William R. Johnson Coliseum.
