Michalezki Named Player of the Week

PLANO, Texas - For the fourth time this season, Stephen F. Austin's Natascia Michalezki was named to the Southland Conference Aeropostale Soccer Student Athlete of the Week list by conference officials. Michalezki, a senior and last year's first-team All-SLC goalkeeper, has now taken goalkeeper of the week honors in four of the six weeks of balloting.
Michalezki recorded 10 saves and allowed one goal in the Ladyjacks' 2-1 win over Texas State Friday. The performance improved her season record to 6-3 and moved her to 52 saves on the season with a 1.11 goals against average. Michalezki's four shutouts this year is tied for the SLC lead, and her .839 save percentage is tops in the league.
The Ladyjacks (7-3, 1-0) return to action Friday with an SLC road match against Southeastern Louisiana. The contest is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. in Hammond, La.
