
Ladyjack Volleyball Sweeps Lady Techsters

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks defeated the Lady Techsters in three straight as junior Laura Cramer nabbed a double-double on Tuesday night at Shelton Gymnasium in their last scheduled non-conference game of the 2005 season.
The Ladyjacks took game one 30-24 and game two 30-16 before closing up the match with a 30-14 score in game three.
The Lady Techsters were held to a .009 hitting percentage, the lowest allowed by the Ladyjacks all season. The Ladyjacks had a .292 hitting percentage.
Cramer had 14 kills to go along with 12 digs for her seventh double-double of the season. Sophomore JJ Jones collected 34 assists and reigning SLC Player of the Week Stephanie Figgers had 15 digs.
The Ladyjacks extended their win streak to six games and improved their home record to 6-0 while moving their overall record to 13-2.
SFA returns to Southland Conference action on Friday, Oct. 7 against the Lamar Lady Cardinals before hosting the McNeese State Cowgirls on Saturday, Oct. 8. Both matches are scheduled for a 7 p.m. start at William R. Johnson Coliseum.
