
Ladyjack Volleyball 11-0 in SLC Play

HAMMOND, La. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks won their 12th straight match and nabbed their 11th Southland Conference victory when they swept the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions, 30-23, 30-19, 30-19, Friday night at the University Center in Hammond.
With a .343 hitting percentage, junior Laura Cramer's 14 kills led both sides of the net. Together with 13 digs, she earned her 13th double-double of the season.
Sophomore JJ Jones dished out 34 assists while senior Lauren Stevens had nine kills for a .348 hitting percentage that led both squads.
Leading the defensive side of the match for SFA were junior Stephanie Figgers and sophomore Traci Rohde. Figgers collected 25 digs while Rohde put up six total blocks on the night.
The victory sets the SLC-leading Ladyjacks with a 19-2 overall record and an 11-0 mark in SLC play. The Lady Lions fell to 6-13 overall with a 2-8 SLC mark.
SFA travels to Thibodaux, La. Saturday to face the Nicholls State Colonels in SLC action at 4 p.m. in Stopher Gym.
