
Ladyjacks Sweep Nicholls State, 3-0

THIBODAUX, La. - For the eighth time in ten tries, the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks swept their opponent when they defeated Nicholls State, 3-0, in Southland Conference play on Saturday at the Thibodaux High School Gym in Thibodaux.
SFA sped to its 13th straight win by scores of 30-15, 30-17, and 30-28.
On her way to her 14th double-double of the 2005 campaign, junior Laura Cramer posted a match-high 12 kills and a team-high 13 digs.
Cramer was one of four Ladyjacks to post double-digit kills. Senior Lauren Stevens, junior Traci Rohde and freshman Lauren Railey each knocked down 10 kills. Stevens led the Ladyjacks with a .500 hitting precentage.
As a team, the Ladyjacks hit a .374 attack percentage while holding Nicholls to a .038.
The win gives the Ladyjacks their 20th win of the season to land them with a 20-2 overall record and a 12-0 SLC mark. The Colonels remain winless at 0-13 overall and 0-12 in league play.
SFA returns to the William R. Johnson Coliseum on Tuesday night to host SLC foe Texas State at 7 p.m.
