Bailey Resigns From Post With Lumberjack Basketball

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack basketball coach Danny Kaspar announced today that Rennie Bailey has resigned as an assistant coach on his staff. Bailey is expected to take a coaching position at another Division I university later this month. Bailey spent the past four seasons with the Lumberjacks after joining the coaching staff prior to the start of the 2000-2001 season. During his tenure with the Lumberjacks, the team went from a nine-win season in 2000-2001, to back-to-back 21-win seasons the last two years. The search for a replacement will begin immediately.
